The history of YouTube to MP3 Software dates back to 2007.

The friends were so pleased to learn that the band performed not only their well-known songs but also ones that were presented neither in the Internet nor on disks.

That was the first time the students hit upon an idea to create a program that would be able to easily download any video from the web site and convert it for MP3 player. Imagine, your favourite music is always at your fingertips. Being programmers, the friends started working on the converter.

The program was named YouTube to MP3.

The programmers got so carried away by the application that they became serious about it. Thus, YouTube to MP3 Software Company was founded in 2007.

One year later the first YouTube to MP3 was released.

In the beginning the software was just a toolbar for Internet Explorer browser. Then an installer for IE and Mozlilla Firefox was devised.

What had begun as an application being developed by two students now was a serious project with a team of marketers, programmers and designers. Thus, the product aimed at close friends became extremely popular among the Internet community. The company was constantly growing and very soon hit the professional level.

The program was at the height of its popularity when Google released its Chrome browser. YouTube to MP3 developers added a new feature of running the YouTube video converting from this browser which had become extremely popular. YouTube to MP3 appreciated this advantage greatly.

Now YouTube to MP3 has a standalone application, able to perform conversion via a shortcut on the Desktop.

The company founded by two friends now numbers hundreds of employees and keeps on developing.
